In 2010, NYEN embarked on a new project of piggery farming. In September 2010 members got up in arms and dug the foundation of the pig sty, and today the structure is up, firm and solid with four rooms of 7 by 5 meters. It is plastered, cemented and roofed with iron sheets. In 2011, we stocked the pigsty with 4 pigs - three females and one male that is older than the females. Members are also working on cultivating one acre of sweet potatoes as food for the pigs so that we can limit on the expenditure from the organization account.
